Why Women Talk More, and Why Men Think More About Sex.

Hey all! A few Avenue Q productions for your eyes… (lol don’t kill me for this… kill m’pal Darren! HE sent these video-thingies to me!!!)

• Vid Two: Everyone´s a little bit racist

Everyone’s a little bit racist, and this pokes fun or perhaps introduces the topic in a light hearted way… say what you want of it!!!

These videos might seem a teensy bit on the offensive side to some viewers, but totally laugh-worthy to others. It all depends on personal preference/culture/background/education/’circle’/notions, I guess.

For example, a mere three, four years ago I would have blinked and just shut the first video off, and then rolled my eyes with the word ‘what the…?’ on my lips as I heard what was going on in the second clip. Different experiences since then have led me to actually hear these through and appreciate the deeper messages that could have, or could have not, been intended by the actors.

If you don’t get it, watch them again and find out for yourself. Even if the clip doesn’t say anything overtly, it still makes you think a lot about certain things (in these two cases, the internet and the issue of racism). I know I thought a lot on those after watching/listening.

Decided against posting my perceptions on those issues so that readers won’t get overwhelmed by a dose of philosophical Raine-ness.

If I get the sudden urge, though… expect a blog post entitled: –[Avenue Q] Vids… Dissection of Inner Messages, Anyone?– to come out ^^

Just for Kicks, II

One of those programs that you just don’t get in Australia is the following one: (in Mandarin)

When I first saw the presenters it was like a lightbulb had flashed on in my head, and I went: ‘OMG I never realised how much I missed laughing to it over dinner on Sunday nights…’!!!!

There are some things that you take for granted, and some things that you don’t realise you’ve missed until a reminder pops up.

This video, for example. Back home it’s part of a one-hour weekly comic-relief-thingy that I regularly watch with my family. It’s great for destressing, hilarious, and totally whacky.

And it’s just in time to help me forget that this week is going to be crazy @.@

Wow, 6am.

As the title says XD

Wow, 6am, and I still haven’t slept ^^ Ah well, it was a Saturday night, and no one sleeps early on Saturday night =D

Consolation for the past 24 hours: *ahem*

Let’s see…. Managed to clear my laundry, change my sheets, go off for the Saturday 12-2, marginally clean up my room, finally arrange an EIL meet-up hour, update myself on what’s happening around the MUISS and MCAC forums (a full-day process lolz), start watching Ichigo 100% before transfering it to my external hard drive & converting it into rmvb format along the way, download a bunch of documents from both MUISS yahoo! and MUSO, fix dinner, read through a few hundred quotes as well as lame jokes (talk about destressing), scan through the Accounting Mid-Sems from last year, update this blog too many times to count (found out how to password-protect at last, yay!), chat with a few someones for a LONG time, fix a ‘date’ for the coming Saturday, and now… OMG I’m actually hearing the birds start to sing outside my window. Can I catch the sunrise? o.o Nah… can’t be bothered since it’s just me alone T.T

Anyhow… gonna try to catch some shut eye for at least 3 hours, with a maximum range of up to 5.5 hours… ^^
