Today is… Thursday. My busiest day. A day when I usually do naughty things like skip lectures, and then go home really late.
Well, as usual, I stood up the MURP crowd for the best part of today’s activities, i.e. two hours out of the three that we run. (O.o …just realised that I’ve been doing that for the past few weeks ^^” gomenasai, minasan!!)
Therefore, perhaps in divine retribution, I was stood up for a photo shoot today which I had skipped a lecture to go to.
Fair’s fair, I guess =P what sucks is that I had two lectures scheduled for that hour (accounting lect and a replacement stats lect because I’d missed my 9am one, as stated in the last blogpost) and that hour was… spent doing random stuff while waiting and trying to get through to someone’s line o.o”
*cries*
lol.
The nice thing about today though was that no one from MCAC stood me up ^^ All of those who had ’signed up’ to come, came, and more than we expected turned up ^_~ WHICH was really good, since I’d booked a 14-seater and OMG turning away all the poor, innocent lunch-time students was soooooo sad and embarrassing… someone would just wander up with a tray in hand and I’d go: “Hi, are you from MCAC?” with a querying smile, and they’d say: “Umm no? Is this table for MCAC only?” whereupon I’d reply regretfully: “Yup… I’m sorry.” Then they’d say: “Nah it’s okay” and scurry off. Doesn’t sound problematic, right?? BUT when you’re one of a maximum of three people at a 14-seater and the seats are pretty empty, that’s… just plain weird XD
Thus whenever I heard a “umm… yeah?” answer, I’d go all hyper and go all chirpy: “really? take a seat then–what’s your name?” and whip out my attendance sheet to start jotting down letters ^_~
19 people turned up today, even if ONE OF THEM didn’t sit down and socialise like the other 18 did. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! lolz…
