Anyway, spent 11pm-2:15am on the phone with Serene… talked about generally lots of stuff (hey, that was almost 200 minutes!!) and traded quite a number of *ahem* insights upon several subjects, institutions, and people. The session was… theuraphathic, in a way, but then again it wreaked major havoc on my original plan to do up ETC =P

Well, retifying that took until 3am (whereupon I decided to actually stop since my brain wasn’t functioning correctly =.=)!! After which I finally logged on to MCAC again and caught up on some of the gossip and happenings that I should not have lost touch with in the first place >.> I mean… paintball updates… the booth stuff… Ergo Proxy… the ‘usual’ lunches… attracting newbies…

…leave for homework for a day or two, and you’re lost for the day; cast adrift, in a sea of ‘I don’t bloody know what’s going on — help!!!’

You get the idea.

Now I kinda know why Serene doesn’t log into MCAC much anymore. She has been intimidated by the post counts and pure flow of exchanges!!!

Only now my problem is that I have a group presentation at 11am that I need to be energised for (T.T it’s going 4am now, FIY)… as well as a 9am Stats class that I really should stop missing.

Newest updates RE: MUISS/SAM/ASEAN Ski Trip

Finished updating and backdating my blogs from Friday night onwards!!

…but anyway, here are the updates for the Ski Trip that was mentioned in my previous blogpost, ‘Skiing Fun in the Snows of Falls Creek, Anyone?’: (quoted from MUISS Discussion Forums, http://www.muiss.org.au/forums/index.php?topic=239.0;topicseen)

In collaboration with SAM and ASEAN club, MUISS will be having our yearly ski trip again to Falls Creek in week 3 of Sem 2, 2007– one of the finest snow mountains around Victoria to set your foot on during the winter. Let’s ski ’till we drop!

Details:
Date: 3rd to 5th August
Day: Friday to Sunday, Week 3 Semester 2
Venue: Falls Creek Halley’s Lodge
Price: $410 for Community card holders, $425.00 for non-Community card holders.
Includes: 2 days accomodation, breakfast and dinner meals, ski lift and lessons, and return transport.

Note: This does not cover the the equipments hire! For the complete equipment hire list, please refer to below. These prices will be paid at Falls Creek to Halley’s Lodge directly, and not to MUISS.

Equipment Hire:
1. Ski, boots and stocks: $45.
2. Snowboard and boots: $45.
3. Parka and pants: $25.
4. Parka only: $16.
5. Pants only: $18.

Note: You do not pay MUISS upon registration. Equipment hire will be paid to Halley’s Lodge when we are there.

Important Things to Note:
1. When signing up, you will be asked to fill in your options. This is tentatively only and may be changed at the last minute.
2. We go by a first-pay-first-serve basis. Your spot will not be guaranteed unless you make full payment.
3. Money paid is not refundable. Spots are however, transferrable to your friends.
4. We will depart somewhere like 4am in Friday. Please make sure that there’s no important classes scheduled for fridays for next semester. Otherwise, please note point #3.

Tickets will be available from MUISS Lounge from 12-2pm, Monday to Friday starting week 10. MUISS is only having 24 seats available and will run out VERY VERY quickly. Do not hesitate! Tickets are available from SAM and ASEAN as well.
