Today was another long stretch of MCAC goodness ^^ had a lunch session that started at 11am (well, only Chris, Celine and I were there that early… correction, only Chris and Celine were on time; I arrived at around 11:30am ^^” my excuse? The cleaning ladies were there when I woke up, so by the time they left I had barely enough time to wash up and rush to the Hargraves!), and progressed on to a meeting with 3 of the other committee members. On the meeting business, first was David at around 1:30pm, then after David left to write his thesis at approx 2:05pm I started another discussion with Vu and Bernie on the Go2 committee’s actions. (=.= spike in the wheel was that non-committee member Carlin was listening in even though he knew that we were discussing committee business =.= grrrrrrr)
MCAC was hilarious today… Chris spotted a few guys two or three tables away who were scrollong on animenewsnetwork, and came back asking us to go over and “seduce” the guys into joining MCAC >=D Unfortunately, we were all too chicken to do so… (hey, if you’re peacefully minding your own business in the Hargraves cafe and doing your own thing, how would you react to some random stranger coming over and pitching sales to you? RAWR.) In the end, Celine told Alex to draw lots and *omg* he drew an *R*–meaning, I was the unlucky candidate =.= Thankfully David was chilvarous enough to go with me, and in fact he did all the talking as well <3<3<3 I love you, David!! (The guys diffused his invitation by saying that they were doing an online assessment. I checked the laptop’s page ^^” They were.)
The majority of people left between 2:20pm and 2:35pm. Vu, Bernie and I continued to ponder over the finer details of the Go2 planning list and migrated from the Hargraves over to Campus Centre at maybe 3pm to get some more info from the Info Desk. Turns out that booking the cinema wasn’t as cheap or easy as I had imagined >.< Afterwards Bernie went off to do something while Vu and I continued on to the C&S office to get printing and laminating quotations as well as ask about website bandwidth. Turns out we have no website allocation. Ouch, another hole in the pockets lolz. More to work out..!!! Tied up MCAC business at circa 3:15pm and went on to look around in the MUISS lounge.
Finally had lunch. Pork dumplings with noodles from Grain Express. Wasn’t as good as I thought it’d be T.T garn… (had Milky Way chocolates compliments of Celine during MCAC lunch, but since I hadn’t had breakfast or lunch… ah well.)
Afterwards I hung around the lounge and did some studying. With a short piano interval with Sharon at the Welcome Centre, I managed to stay at MUISS with Stan, Serene, Stephie, Han etc until 9pm, and then crashed another 1.5 hours at the Matheson Annexe. Dinner was curry chicken, provided by Alex =D yummmmm… and now I really owe him a curry chicken dinner ^_~ (promised him and Vivian one that Sunday, remember?) Have to go home and really badger mom for a good, spicy curry that will make them rush for water >=D
Did some last-minute revision of Tute 11 (finally got that externalities chapter down, I think) and am off to bed soon. G’night all!! ECC1000 tomorrow… good luck to everyone for that!!!!
